Born and raised in Barbados, Ryan attended Harrison College and the Lodge School where he pursued studies in Technical Drawing, Building Drawing and Design and Technology. He joined the Barbados Defence Force straight out of school, where he completed military, administrative and computer courses, specializing in payroll administration. He then moved into the Hospitality sector, where he worked as a Human Resources and Payroll officer. He worked for a number of years in payroll, and conducted payroll courses in Trinidad and Grenada. He then took a step away from payroll,  completing a course in Protective Security Services and took up the position as Head of Security at a property on the west coast. Here he worked closely with the management team and developed his love for real estate and property management, gaining valuable exposure to the field. Ryan then worked as a Property Supervisor for a reputable firm before transitioning into property management. Ryan possesses the practical ability to efficiently function in his role and attended UWI Open Campus where he undertook a course in Real Estate and Property Management to gain the theoretical knowledge. 

Ryan also worked as an immigration officer for a number of years and completed specialized courses and gained extensive knowledge of various peoples and cultures  enabling him to better relate to individuals and their needs and preferences. 

Ryan’s technical knowledge and his people skills enables him to overcome any challenges that may arise in his chosen profession, and his hands-on approach ensures all tasks are completely in a timely fashion. 

Ryan has a passion for writing, and is a part time poet. 

He is currently enrolled at the University of the West Indies, where he’s pursuing studies in Public Policy and Management.
