**The former Discovery Bay Hotel which was situated adjacent to Art Studio Condominiums, has now been completely demolished and the site cleared. The site has been purchased by Blue Diamond Resorts who intend to build a new hotel on the site, construction rumored to commence in May 2024 and take approximately 2 years. To date, despite numerous requests to Blue Diamond regarding the start date and details of the new hotel, no information has been received.
Enquires have been made with the construction Company who have been retained to carry out the redevelopment work. They have said that due to to new build building techniques which will be employed on this site, any noise, dust and disturbance to neighboring properties will be substantially reduced and should not cause any undue disturbance.
Art Studio Condominiums are in constant contact with Blue Diamond Resorts and any future progress will be posted.
